A few days have passed and I still can't get out of my mind the image of Jennifer Lopez's see through outfit for her New Years 2009 performance. Her skintight black mesh catsuit left little to the imagination and caused surprising stir and comotion to fans and audience worldwide. I admit that even me being a huge Jlo fan (she is my favorite fashion icon)got caught off guard and at first felt mixed feelings about her fashion decision.
Although this number may be part of her promotional choices for the image she wants to project in her new album, I prefer her looking more glamourous, classic,sexy yet put together...
Whether we approve or not, whether there were real diamonds incrusted in her catsuit (that is what is said)or not, she looks great psysically after giving birth to twins and proves that at forty you can sometimes look way better than in your twenties!
I give her credit for making bold decisions, because after all a real fashion trendsetter, a real passionista does not follow the crowd or in most cases, rules.
Something must be learned for all women (latina or not) is to embrace one's body as is and be confident in whatever you feel appropiate to wear.
